Question by Rookie: I recently downloaded and bought the scam “Alpha Antivirus”, should i change my email address to be safe?
They got my debit card number, phone number, address and email address. I cancelled my debit card, had to get my laptop brought into best buy for removal of the virus and now im getting spam emails on my yahoo mail address. Should i delete my current email and start fresh? Or am i safe from any further problems?

get another addy in yahoo, not sure if best buy is any good, i would run some spyware programs. bugs like that leave traces.

I have AVG internet security 2011 X64 (latest update with latest definitions update) and I performed a full can and my pc was clean only removed a few tracking cookies then I decided to try super antispyware just for fun and it reported 7 Adware.Tracking Cookie 18 Security.HiJack[ImageFileExecutionOption] and 2 Trojan.Agent/Gen-Falint

I feel that my pc is vunerable to malware and spyware and which antivirus should I switch to and do not recomend anything be norton, mcafee, or microsoft
I know tracking cookies are harmless i just want them all gone cuz I only use private browsing so i dont need them

Norton is a scam, Mcafee is like poruing water on your computer, But microsoft is good. Anyway, I reccomend you try out Avast antivirus, It’s free and also detects any virus and tells you and also blocks the site.

Ah, but Norton Internet Security INCLUDES Norton Antivirus…
