hi i would like to know how to get rid of cybersitter on my computer.
i permanently deleted the cyb2k.exe folder and ended the cyb2k.exe process but it’s not working. It wouldn’t even open google images and utorrent

Do a yahoo search for Housecall. What it should say within the search’s find is Trend Micro Housecall. it’s a web-based antivirus program. It should do the trick for you.

I installed the G Data antivirus 2011 on my computer! i was just the trial. now the trial is over.. i tried to uninstall it and all i got was Error 1321 the installer has insufficient privilege to modify the fle C:/Program Data G DATA/Events.gdb??? really need help thanks

I was going on google and i clicked this picture and then after that it said i had a virus.so i tried downloading some antivirus things. Also i bought this Norton antivirus 2011 online. It finished downloading but it do anything!! i just LOST $ 30!. Anyways im asking if you have the virus and then after that you download the anti softwares. Does it stil help??

Go to http://download.com and look there. You can find reviews from experts as well as from users and download everything you need there.
I personally use, Avast AV, Spy-bot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware se Personal for the detection of the things you listed. I got them all from dl.com for FREE. Avast has a paid, version, too, as does A-A, but the free versions do just FINE!
Just remember that all the anti-malware progs you can get won’t do you a bit of good if they’re not UPDATED on a REGULAR basis. (I do mine at least once DAILY.) AND you MUST scan with them at least once a week. (Again, I do this every day before I shut off my computer. The less time stuff is in there the less opportunity it has for doing a LOT of dammage.)
Just for insurance I use this online scanner:

Sometimes a real NASTY will disable your anti-malware progs.

My mom has dial up, not by choice, it is the only thing available in her area right now. So many of the anti virus services require you to have an open connection (dial up does not) to use their product. She needs to find a product to soon.

Just give it 4 hours to download .
And i suggest you guys run the updates once a week on a day when she does not use the internet, but on a date that you or her will be home to get online and get the update.
