Question by kropekoi: antivirus software for k610i?
ive got a sony ericsson k610i and a 512mb M2 duo, my problem is that the files inside the memory stick duo 2 doesnt last long or not more than 15days,
what happen is when i put some MP3 files and some game applications onto my M2 and put it in my k610i it doesnt last long it only lasts for about 5 to 10 days and it automatically deletes the files puting it back to 499MB size when i receive some files from a blue tooth device,
and when you go to the file manager and look into the memory stick it shows “memory stick not inserted” (even i havent removed it yet),
when i tried to remove and insert it again and look into the files, it shows that the files went back to 499mb,
is there a mobile antivirus that can be installed into my k610i?
if there is how can i install them?
cause i have a kaspersky, mcafee, netqin1, simworks, symantec, anticabir, anticommwarrior and disinfector anti virus softwares but they only works to nokia not to sony ericcson

Your problem is definitely not caused by a virus. The Sony Ericsson K610i is not a Symbian phone. There are neither viruses, nor anti-virus programs for it.

Question by Win_se7enZ: use 1 real antivirus and 2 security.. is good?
use AVG IS 2011, combine with MBAM 1.5 pro (biut, i disabled protect real time) and i use threatfire too.. is a good combination??

disable real-time protection is bad idea. MBAM is not an A/V, it’s anti-malware protection, however AVG 2011 had improved comparing to 2010.
restore Real-time protection, perform updates for AVG either automatically or manually, and do updates for Windows and you’ll be okay.

Question by Andrew H: Does anybody know how to turn off the Anti-Virus Protection in the Windows Security Center?
I already have AVG installed and I know that having two anti-virus programs running at the same time causes problems like slowing the pc down but I can’t seem to find how to disable the default anti-virus.
Best answer:
Answer by kenny r
well this means that you need to shut the other (other than the AVG) program down, which would in turn make windows notify u that your antivirus isnt running, which would make the security center say that your antivrus is turned off. u cant just turn it off through the windows security center. that is just a monitoring screen basically. as soon as you turn off the antivirus u had originally running, it will say that your antivirus is turned off. hope that helped :]

That “antivirus” is actually a virus itself that tries to scam you out of money. You need to use *real* antivirus to remove it. I recommend trying Malwarebytes.

Question by Chuck: How do I make a copy of the anti-virus program that I downloaded a couple of days ago?
A few days ago I download an anti-virus and they recommend I make a back-up. I have never made one before and I need step by step instructions on the procedure. I have blank CD-RWs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best answer:
Answer by BigTime
a backup is used when your antivirus deletes the wrong programs after scanning…..after viruses are found, your anti-virus will ask you to backup before removing the viruses because things might go wrong…your backup will un-delete the files deleted back to normal
