Question by Spencer: AVG vs Avast vs Avira?
Which is the best free antivirus program (I’m not asking for paid versions)? I do not care which takes the most resources, but I am looking for which program can take as many malware/viruses/trojans/etc. out of my computer. which is most effective to keep my pc clean?

P.S. people say malwarebytes antimalware is good, but It’s never detected anything in its scans?????

Of these three, AVG is supposed to be the weakest. I prefer Avira for look and feel reasons (and at least it manages to make its nagware aspect mildly entertaining), but the last time I asked the malware experts at What The Tech this question Avast and Avira were recommended to me as being on a roughly equal footing.
