I’m looking to get a Macbook Pro when Leopard comes out and saw that Intego has some good programs for Mac (especially if you’re going to run Windows on Mac). I was wondering, how is Intego’s programs and does Advast! antivirus and/or Lavasoft Ad-Aware have any programs for Mac (as those are the programs I use now)?

Getting a new laptop for university, studying engineering.
The university sent me 2 deals on laptops, and i was wondering if they are good value for money

I was just about to listen to my music when all of a sudden a message appeared saying to save all my documents or else they’d be gone. It said something about remote (maybe remote access) and so I quickly right clicked on my computer and checked the remote and it was unchecked. So I knew no one was doing it. It also had a timer counting down from 30 seconds I believe. I don’t remember much cause I panicked but now I’m on my brother’s computer. Oh yeah I also checked the Sreensaver/Power on right click properties and nothing was wrong with that. Do I have a virus or something?? I’ve already scanned with SUPERantispyware, Symantec, Ad-aware, Trojan Hunter, and Spybot Search and Destroy on safe mode and nothing came up with any of them.

Note: All the above scanners are very good. I’m actually paying for Symantec and SUPERantispyware is the number one virus scanner. I use Zonealarm Pro and Comodo Firewall Pro so I see that there is no way for a virus. But is there??

my computer was recently infected by virus or something — but i have cleaned it with antivirus and ad-aware.

now, my problem is i cannot find RUN button (the one we put regedit, etc) in the start menu..

Hello, OK so yesterday a pop-up came up while I was on my computer saying something like: Ad-Aware Watch Live! detected something bad and is now running a scan. Now, in the past I have had the Trojan: Windows XP Defender Pro like 3 times before and it says something similar, so I thought oh no, not again with that stupid Trojan and stopped the scan, but i think it was really Ad-Aware, and when I stopped it, it came up with something it had found called win32 backdoor, or something and so i removed it. Well, I have had great success with the program Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for the XP Trojan, and so I started running its scan, Ad-Aware’s again, AND McAfee. All these scan, and I let them run for a bit, but after a while, Malware had already found 2 infected objects, and Ad-Aware had found 1 and McAfee had found none. So I closed Mcafee, but let the others run all night; in the morning, my mom started to remove whatever Ad-Aware had found, but it was taking forever so she went to the Malware and i guess removed the stuff and the computer restarted, but now the thing is, it somehow got rid of our internet explorer and the games that come with the computer!!!! its way weird, so my question is can you guys think of any way to get the games back? my mom love playing spider solitaire so we need them back, and i know how to reinstall internet explorer, but we need the games back. The folder called games is still there, but it says empty in it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I want to know if i’m protected? Well I got Spybot search&destroy and for anti-virus i got bitdefender pro. and i want to know how can i get ad-aware se? is it free?
