Question by Natives: Avg vs.SuperAntispywarevs.Norton?
have norton now, have had avg in the past, how is it that even with these people recommend running Superantispyware? Shouldn’t norton or avg do a good job on their own with keeping stuff off computer?

well you can say that no scanner does it all and superantispyware can sometimes deal with the things that your main antivirus cant. Its more of a complementary thing and it is recommended with your main antivirus. Superantispyware is safe to use and you should take it in with your pc.
AntiVirus alone does not provide complete security and protection.AntiVirus programs only detect malware, they don’t prevent attacks before they start, protect your wireless connection, or prevent viruses from entering your PC.
I recommend Internet Security (from Comodo or AVG )which can get you the highest level of security with the advanced features available .
Comodo Internet Security has :
* Firewall – Slam the door on viruses with Comodo’s unique Default Deny Protection.
* AntiVirus – Scan for and destroy known threats to your PC’s health. Explore Comodo AntiVirus
* Live Security Expert – Have an expert on hand 24/7 to solve any PC problems you may be experiencing. Explore Expert PC Support
* Wi-Fi Security – Encrypt all your data when using Wi-Fi so no one can steal your information.
You can have the basic Security edition for free, or the complete edition only for $39

All are good programs.
However, there is no one BEST program for everyone and no single program can protect against all infections! Each person’s individual computer usage is completely different. Some folks download illegal programs and music, which exposes them to more infections than any other behavior. Some folks only read their email and do some light surfing.
Because usage is different, the appropriate software is different for everyone.
Here is a list of FREE programs that do their job well, for various security tasks. Most of the time, several programs are necessary to maintain a full range of security/protection against viruses, trojans, worms, etc. You can check for yourself at http://reviews.cnet.com/software/ and search for any software you like. You will see Editor and Consumer reviews – and read them yourself to determine if they fit your needs.
There is a safe site, with software reviews by both the editors and users at www.download.com Most of the following programs can be downloaded from there.
ANTI-VIRUS:
-AVG by Grisoft
-Avira
-Avast
Any *one* of these would probably work well for you! Read the reviews to be sure.
ANTI-SPYWARE:
Since NONE of the anti-spyware/anti-adware programs are 100 percent accurate in finding and removing spyware, you need *at least* two programs which you will run one after the other, not at the same time.
There are several excellent free ones:
-Spybot, Search and Destroy
-Ad-Aware
-Spyware Blaster
-Superantispyware
-Malwarebytes
FIREWALL:
-Comodo
-Online Armor
-SandBoxie
-Sunbelt Personal Firewall (formerly Kerio)
-Zone Alarm
GENERAL CLEANING:
-Ccleaner
