    Avast Pro.

It’s hands down in my opinion…ain’t even close.

Just last night I went to a link someone posted on another site and my script blocker went crazy…threw out all kinds of red script warnings along the bottom of my page where the alerts show. I kind of knew it was a bogus link to a messed up site but, I wanted to test this Pro out–it passed.

I’m gonna go back to that site and make a video with my cam studio showing I ain’t afraid of no ghosts…

I have a video on my profile here showing Avast (the free version, I hadn’t even gone Pro yet) catching and CLEANING out a trojan AVG 8.0 let in…think about that.

But, you’ll get a lot of different input here. Use what works best for you.

I want to agree with Ken on what he said: If you are talking about paid security, Kaspersky is, in my opinion, the best.

BUT, Kaspersky has a serious draw back to it: if your pc does not have some serious cajones, you are going to sit and watch it slow to a crawl–like molasses in the winter. Same thing with Nod32. Both are cpu hogs and slow down “average everday machine.”

Avast has a bit more False Positives than AVG, also. But, I would rather have a false positive I can work around than a “no detection” that I have to go in and clean up after later…

both just same.. i know, i’d been through both. probably you need avg.

  3. SpoilleR says:

    Go with nod32 paid version..

Try it 30 days for free

for your question.. i would go with avast.. (avast is not that heavy on the system and the program got a higher rate of detection)

  4. jibbarjabar says:

Avast has always had better virus detection rates than AVG. By far.

Plus the free version of Avast has exactly the same virus detection capabilities as the paid version! The paid version just has a few more “bells and whistles”. The free version protects just as well.

avg is good but not the best. kaspersky internet security is the best security if u wanna buy it they are on sale for only 23.95 the original price 79.95. Go here http://kasperskysale.com/?gclid=CKnAutrfwJMCFQoRswodGAmUCA get it before too late.

both r gud but avast stands at higher position than avg in virus detection…….but for overall protection go for AVG8

The best is when you keep to update the database virus regularly, once a month at least or a week at least. Or even per day if you are always online.

    4) fastest daily updates.
